In the pre-selection round, the 5 best teams will be selected to compete in the finals, where teams will compete for tickets to the business festival Slush in Helsinki, a monetary award from Tartu City and tickets to the next sTARTUp Day.

Kaleidoskoop is not just the final event of the STARTER programme but an opportunity for teams to be seen and to introduce their product or service.

  • At least 50% of the team members should be students from universities, vocational or general education schools.

  • A perfect pitch would include the following information: team name, description of the problem, offered solution, potential market, competition, business model, the competence of the team.
  • A pitch can be either in English or Estonian. But keep in mind that TOP 5 at sTARTUp Day can only pitch in English!
